So I have an iPhone 6 with latest version of ios 10.3.2

I noticed that wifi speed on this iPhone crashes just after moving 12-15 feet away from the wifi router

I get 40mbps very close to the router but speed drops to 5-6mpbs away from router

I tried resetting network settings turned off location service for wifi custom dns there is just no improvement!

I tried my other iPhone and it gives 25mbps away from wifi router

How do I fix this issue? Thanks!

What router do you have, and how is it configured? 802.11what? and 5GHz or 2.4GHz bands? How many antenna does it have and does it support beam forming?

I have an iPhone SE and I find that my phone does the same thing. I find that I need to shut off my wifi and start using my cellular data cause wifi becomes unusable even though I have a strong connection to the router.

So i keep resetting network settings but the slow wifi keeps coming back for my iPhone 6

What are new suggestions?
