I just installed my new Airport Time Capsule. I read that it might improve my WiFi speeds but didn't expect this. I usually saw speeds in the 40-45Mbps range when doing tests on my iPhone 5 and iPad 4. Just did 8 tests and saw speeds that ranged from 71 Mbps to 90.73 Mbps for downloads and 10-11 Mbps for uploads (that didn't change. These things fly now!!!

If you are going from an old router it will definitely make a HUGE difference. If its a router made in the last two years you should still see a increase just not as dramatic.

That isn't exactly a bad piece of hardware by any means. I have issues when companies try to put too much into one device. It is just too much on the CPU. That's why I always do a simple modem and router configuration.
