Wifi speed with Verizon FIOS?

I have speed of 50/25. My computer that is connected by ethernet cable get these speeds. My iMac which is connected via wifi is only getting 3/1. my router is the firs generation time capsule. Before I upgraded to 50/25, I had 15/5 and all was working. Any thoughts?
