I used the trick about clearing out the plist files and it seemed to stabilize my connection. Thanks for that!

However, by connection to the internet is VERY slow! I'm on Verizon DSL, modem model DSL-2750B. I went through setup without any problem, but I tried out a test at speedtest.net, and I'm only getting about 0.59 Mbps on the test run. I have 3.4 Mbps Downstream and 0.9 Mbps Upstream. Before the upgrade to Yosemite, I was getting good speed [for dsl].

Is there anything I can try at this point? I've tried talking to Verizon and they assured me that the line is okay. I've tested my wifi using my phone as a hotspot and it works perfectly, so I don't think it's my own wifi system files.

Perhaps I set up the Verizon DSL router wrong? Any help would be most appreciated!

Thanks all.
