Dear All,

I have had my MacBook for 6 months and it has worked just great with my WiFi network and any other WiFi I have happened to connect it to. This morning, while I was downloading some files, my internet connection died on me. At 1st I thought it was my provider and I usually fix that by restarting my Router. I did that, but nothing happened. I can detect and connect to my WiFi but I have no internet access! My wife's PC and mobile phone connect perfectly well to my WiFi and so does my iPhone!!! My MacBook now only works with ETHERNET...

Let me add that I have the 13.3" MacBook unibody running the latest Leopard 10.5.8. software upgrades. These are my MacBook characteristics:

* Model Name: MacBook
* Model Identifier: MacBook5,1
* Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
* Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
* Number Of Processors: 1
* Total Number Of Cores: 2
* L2 Cache: 3 MB
* Memory: 2 GB
* Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz

Does anybody know what is going on?!? What has happened!?!
Cheers!

no idea how to fix it but all i know is that wifi on my aluminum macbook (late 2008) is absolutely horrible. i have 4 other pcs in the house that wirelessly connect (and stay connected) to my router no problem. its only this garbage mac that seems to like to randomly disconnect and then NOT reconnect until i turn off airport and turn it back on. incredibly annoying.

Turned out that DropBox isn't compatible with my Thomson SpeedTouch 780. I tried my connection after removing it and everything is working again. I sent this feedback back to drop box and are waiting for their reply.
