Wifi sync iphone with pc

My iphone doesnt show up in itunes over wifi
In last 9 months hardly thrice it was able to sync over wifi
Has nybody else faced this problem?
Is any solution possible??
Reseting wifi router and reinstalling itunes has not helped

Is your PC connected to the same network via WiFi, or Ethernet? If Ethernet, that may be your problem. Some routers don't pass Bonjour traffic well between Wireless and Wired networks, even if they are on the same IP subnet. Other routers will, but again some require a firmware update.

You should also check your PC firewall. That may also be interfering.

The first time you sync you have to do it via the computer, then the wifi sync will work. Not sure if you have done that yet. You also have to enable it in itunes

I have the same problem... I used to be able but not anymore and even so if i press sync alot of times it searches but doesnt find or something. Pisses me off as well and i use wireless on the same router

My iPad and iPhone will not sync unless they are plugged into the charger or with USB connection to my PC.

On battery power they just search and never sync properly. Not sure if it's normal but that's the way they work. Good enough for me.

Note: Everything is on WiFi
