WiFi sync not working in iOS6

Since I updated both of my iPhone 4's to iOS6, wifi sync has not been working with my iMac. Is anyone else having this issue?

I plugged it in, turned sync on, hit apply, ejected the phone, closed down iTunes, opened iTunes again and it worked.

i am on 10.8.1 using iTunes 10.7
