On my test iPad, under General -> wireless sync, I see that the last time it synced was when I was physically tethered. I can't get it to wifi sync at all. I looked for a setting on 10.5 beta, but don't see it. Has anyone gotten that to work yet on the beta?

In all seriousness, this type stuff has been confusing me.

Apple released iOS 5 to developers at WWDC. Apple released iTunes 10.3.3 to pretty much everyone as a semi-beta release on testing iCloud features.

Yet this must be the 10th time I have seen references to iTunes 10.5. Am I misunderstanding something or are people just mixing up all the numbers?

iTunes 10.3.1 was released to the public with a few icloud features.

iTunes 10.5 beta was released to developers along with ios 5.0 its supposed to allow wifi-sync and other ios 5.0 compatibilities

iTunes 10.5 beta is "technically" not released to the public but you can certainly find it out there just like you can find ios 5.0

Yes and no!
iTunes 10.3.3 is so that you can use the iCloud service of seeing your previous purchased apps and songs with iOS 4.3.3 and iTunes 10.5 is a developers preview that gives a little more and looks more like OSX Lion and works with iOS 5 preview.
