Apple claims that the wifi syncing option works the same as physically plugging in your iPhone via USB. While that may be true for everything else, it does not appear to be true for photos. At no point in the process does my iPhone appear in iPhoto to enable me to transfer photos. Perhaps that's not considered part of syncing. Are my only options to install third party software or physically connect? I don't want to sync photos with iCloud. It's much too slow.
