Wifi (via sprint mifi) on iphone not working...

I have a sprint mifi card that has worked perfectly up until today, without explanation.

I'm able to connect via my computer, and it's fine. When i got into the mifi (via 192.168.1.1.) i can see what the ip address, but when i check my network setting on my iphone, it gives me a 169.#$.... number. I was able to connect to the hotel that i'm staying in's wifi without issue, but not my mifi card.

I've done a shut down, forget network, wifi off, etc, but no luck.

anyone else encountered this issue?
