Just put beta ios 11 on my wife's old iphone 6. I currently have an iphone 6. I tested my wifi connection to the fios router using wifi sweetspots. It would appear that ios 11 enables full use of spectrum. Before ios 11, the wifi speeds were similar to my iphone 6. Now the speeds appear much faster, in fact, somewhat better than my wife's iphone 7!
