Wifi Won't Turn On After Upgrade - Late 2008 Unibody MacBook

Like the title says, I upgraded my late '08 unibody MacBook to Mavericks, and now the wifi won't turn on... Other stuff seems to work at the moment. Need to try to get an Ethernet cable connection to see if I can get online. Posting now from an iPad 1...

HALP
 
NVM - Apparently shutting it down, then powering it back up won't work; However, shutting it down, letting it sit for a day, then powering it back up cleared up the issue.
