i would like to know if it's possible to hook up a Nintendo Wii to an iMac's screen for gameplay... anyone know how this could happen?

Wow, never thought of that! That would be awesome! I already use my iMac as a TV and DVR, why not hook a Wii up to it, too? Of course, then I would never leave my desk! :p Seriously, anybody know if this can be done?

I have my Wii and Xbox 360 set up to play on my iMac with an EyeTV Hybrid. It works great and supports widescreen (have to set the eyetv to stretch the image and the console to output widescreen or it gets all distorted).

Not all DVRs work though due to buffering.

I have an EyeTV Hybrid, and I did not know you could hook a game console up with it. Thanks! I'll give that a try! :D
