Hey guys the other day I was playing my only wii u game new super mario bros and noticed the b button on the gamepad is loose and wobbling, the button corresponds to taps in game, should I be concerned and contact Nintendo to get it repaired.

Yes that is not normal - I would for sure contact Nintendo to get it fixed. They have fairly good turn around times with that kind of stuff.

I had an issue with the wii. i got it back in 3 days, granted the facility where they fixed it was about 20 min from me.

It took 1 week for them to fix my DS Lite (or send me a new one, never worked it out) in the UK. No idea how they are in Australia but they seem to be quick everywhere else.
Definitely get in touch with them.
