I have made a torrent for the Wikipedia database specifically designed for the iPod Touch. For those of you that were having trouble downloading the 2.3 GB .tar file, this will be a much simpler option.
In a bit I will write a complete tutorial on the process, but for now just start the download.
One more thing, please seed the torrent once you get done downloading so that the torrent stays available for the rest of the iPod Touch community.
