I heard even the pro has problem doing dual screens.... Who you think 15 MBA will feel laggy?

All MacBook Air models support just a single external display.

Thank you for the link. This is hugely disappointing and kills the purchase for me.

I need a portable laptop that I can dock and use with 2/3 screens. I can currently do that with a 2019 Chromebook, so for apple not to have this feature on their 15" airs is really bad!

Get a displaylink adapter. Expensive...but works great. I've been using it for 2 years with my M1 Macbook air. 1 Cord - power, keyboard, mouse, dual monitors, ethernet at my desk.

Wow, really? The new m2 15 inch doesn't support 2 USB-C screens natively?

I'm using a 2019 Chromebook for work that does that. How disappointing.
Yeah. But since i neither have the money, space and need to purchase 2 4k monitors it doesn’t disappoint me.
If u need it the pro line supports it
