After a very long search on an external monitor display for my Macbook, I narrowed down to Samsung P2350. However, I'm not confident with my decision since I'm really not tech savy. 
That's why I registered today to post my question.
Here is my needs for a display, listed by priority
1. The color and brightness quality on the display should mirror the native display on my Macbook as much as possible. (I hope by choosing reputable brand like Samsung, the differences won't be so great.)
2. Resolution so I can have sharp/focus image. (My model of Macbook support up to 1920 by 1200 pixels.)
3. Budget. (As a master student, ~$200 is really what I'm shooting for a Samsung monitor. I know Samsung is on a higher end compared to Dell)
Finally, I am just looking for a monitor for essential school functions. I will be using it mainly for reading texts on websites, documents and journals at home on a larger display instead of staring at the original 13in monitor all the times.
Alright, my questions for you guys are: Do you think 23" Samsung LCD P2350 is a good pick? I am open to other suggestions and it doesn't "have" to be a Samsung. Does anyone has personal experiences connecting this monitor with your Macbooks?
