HI,
I own the original 2G iPhone 8G unlocked and jailbroken with T-Mobile USA. After 3.0 is released will there be a good chance that I will be able to update and remain unlocked?

Haven't seen this while searching the threads.

Depends on what the Dev Team can do after public release.

Their site states that it is jailbreakable, although they haven't released the software to do so yet.

I updated my 2G iPhone (Orange UK) to 3.0 and it remained unlocked just fine.
