Will 6 and 6+ have different versions of iOS?

With the 6+ allowing the home screen to be in landscape mode plus different layouts for mail/messages/etc in landscape, does that mean the 6+ has a different version of iOS? Like a 8.0.1 vs the standard 8.0?

I believe they'll have the same "version" but each version will behave a bit differently on the Plus.
