Will 65 watt adapter work with 15" retina MPB

I have an older 65 watt charger from a 13"unibody macbook.

If I get the magsafe to magsafe2 adapter, can I use this charger?

Yes, you can use it, but it will charge much slower and slower still when you are using the computer.

Great - thanks for the prompt replies.

Its really just as a backup charger at home.
Saves me having to lug the MBPs charger to and from work.
