Will a 3/4th Gen IPad 12.9 folio case fit on 5th Gen?

Does any one know or have tried the Smart Folio 3/4 Gen case on a 5th gen 12.9 IPad Pro?

I think the 5th gen is slightly thicker…
 
It is slightly thicker but it is not enough of a difference, pretty much all cases have enough slack in them to fit.
