Will a 4K display cause extra input lag compared to a 5K display

Will a 4K display cause extra input lag compared to a 5K display because of how Macs handles the scaling? Thinking about using a 4K gaming display together with a Mac mini on Geforce Now playing Battlefield 6. I don’t want too much input lag since Geforce now already probably gives you a handicap when it comes to input lag.

I don't know about "lag" in this case, wouldn't expect much. What I do know is that you could just not do the macOS scaling. Run the 4K display in native 3840x2160 or @2x "looks like 1920x1080" or just in plain old 1920x1080 while gaming.
