I'm just asking this because I'm planning to send a iPad somewhere out for a present.:rolleyes:;)
Even though this could be a weird question:confused::confused:, I think I do want a fast answer.
If you didn't know, A Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box is a choice for packages for sending out International packages.

Thanks for trying to answer my question!:cool:

Well, let's see:

USPS International Priority Mail prices and box sizes:

Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box = 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8"

The iPad alone(*) would require a ~10x8x1" box.

So obviously it won't fit. You'd need at least one of the Priority Mail International Medium Flat Rate Boxes. Expensive!

(*) Accessories take up more room. Using the actual Apple box requires at least 3" high, I think.

Is this the box, or the iPad?

I want to know if this is the box, or if it's the iPad alone.

The only way you're getting an iPad into the small box is to fold it in half.

Folding an iPad in half is only advisable when trying to blend it.

The small box isn't big enough to put the iPad in all by itself, let alone put the original box in as well.

If you're shipping it, it would be best to find a box large enough to fit the original retail box in as well.

You want to ship an iPad and you want to cheap out on the shipping? You don't want to ship the iPad in the iPad box? Are you nucking futs?

Buddy, pay the charge for a well-packed and adequately-sized box to ship the iPad or the so-called "gift" will arrive all f'ed up and only disappoint the recipient.
