As mentioned in the other thread, why not exchange the white phone for a black one?

I mean, if you buy this digitizer, you're going to have to crack the case, risk a ton of damage to your phone, and be left with a white home button and a black bezel.

will it be hard to bring it back and exchange it for a black one? i mean to change the number over and activate it and everything else?

Nah, it's Apple. They do all the work for you... they're pros at customer satisfaction.

In regards to activation, if it's a sim card, it'll probably work right after the swap, if CDMA, a 5 min call to customer service will take care of things.

Easy easy.

You might get stuck with a $30 restock fee or something, but hey, thats still a lot cheaper than a $100 screen swap.
