Will a iSkin ProTouch affect PB's backlight Keyboard??

I just ordered my new Powerbook so now I trying to wrangle up some accessories to get for it. I was thinking of getting the iSkin's Pro Touch Keyboard Protector to help prevent from anything accidently getting inside the Keyboard, but I was wondering if this might affect the keyboard's backlight. I believe the sensors are located somewhere else so the lights still should come on, but even if I get the artic white iSkin, would the backlight still be visible? I appreciate any replies.
