Will a "Jailbreak" change my 3G settings?

i have a brand new 16GB iphone. I am wondering if after jailbreak that my legit 3G data setting will be gone. I know when i have aSIM unlocked iphone in the past my DATA would not work, the iphone didn't show the #G icon. I am on the Rogers network in Canada

Jailbreaking hasn't affected my 3G data. It's been the same as it was before I jailbroke.
