iPod touch Will a new iPod Touch be released this fall or next year?

If there will be a new iPod Touch do you think it will be released this year or in 2015? I have seen many people in the forums saying if the iPod Touch gets updated it will happen next year.

I think we'll see them for Christmas I don't think Apple will abandon the ipod market just yet. Look how long they kept the classic around. Plus they basically own the Music player market, when apple owns something I don't think they like to give it up

I still feel there is a decent market for a new one. They will probably release it in time for Christmas and Black Friday.

I'm pretty sure this gives a kick in the market's ass.

Plus, if Target makes it work well, other companies will follow.

The usefulness of the iPod Touch is overlooked. I suspect a new one comes this fall (Sept/Oct). Hope to see a 4.7" screen. Knowing Apple's behavior, they could hold off until Spring/Summer 2015, however they do seem to be on a 2-year cycle with this and other products.
