Will a regular Qi charger also give me rings on my cases?

I was planning on getting the MagSafe duo but the ugly ring on the back of leather cases made me reconsider

but will any wireless charger also do the same thing? I mean when I wirelessly charge my phone usually gets warm..so if the magnets in the case start heating up, will it form a ring?

because if that is the case, might as well go with MagSafe duo

Never has for me; I've been Qi-charging my X, in its white Apple silicone case, since I got it on launch day (2017).

Yes but now there are magnets inside the case...so I was thinking if they heat up, would burn/discolour the leather or silicon?

i guess time will tell

Possibly, though I’ve charged my new 12 Pro Max in its Apple white silicone case and it hasn’t made any marks yet.
