will a remote message that is received remain on screen once i remote wipe the phone?

My phone was stolen. I tracked it, locked it and sent a message. No response so I remote wiped it. Will the remote message I sent remain on screen?

No, once you wipe it, it should display a 'connect to itunes' message or the default lock screen.
