Carrier Will a SIM card from a verizon LTE Mifi hotspot work in a wireless Air?

I know I may have to request a nano sim, but I was wondering if there are any restrictions on using a hotspot sim in a tablet.

I have not tried it on the air but when I stopped using my Verizon MiFi and got an ipad 3 LTE I just pulled the SIM and moved it with no issues. Depending on your pricing it may even be cheaper as they charge $20/mo for Mifi device and only $10/mo for tablets. I bought my new air with LTE as well so it came with the SIM. I just suspended the SIM on my ipad 3 vs canceling so I can turn it on as needed No fee to suspend. Well yet anyways I am in the first 90 days
