My ACD and keyboard quite far away from my Mac Pro, and I have several peripherals that I need to connect that can't reach the Mac Pro. I'm wondering if plugging a USB 2.0 hub into one of the ports on the ACD will work? I seem to remember doing that in the past, and having problems with certain peripherals that didn't like being plugged in to a hub. Not sure if that had anything to do with the ACD, or if those peripherals wouldn't have worked through a hub regardless of what it was plugged in to.

As long as you get AC powered hub, it should work fine. Bus powered may not get enough power from the ACD and thus cause issues

I just want to confirm I have a Belkin 7-port powered USB 2.0 hub plugged into my 24" Cinema Display.

Okay, so it does sound like it has to be powered if it's plugged into the ACD? Thanks for your response. I was about to buy an unpowered hub.
