Will a Verizon iPhone 5 running 6.1.2 with a T-mobile sim receive the T-Mobile carrier update?

mine is running 6.1.2 because its jailbroken. But the update doesnt require an ios update. Speeds didnt change as the update doesnt do much to the verizon version other than to display 4g instead of 3g when connected to a hspa+ network

But yes mine is showing 4g now.

you should receive carrier updates depending on what SIM is inserted into the phone. so a verizon phone with a t-mobile SIM will get the proper updates. reinsert the verizon SIM, and it will reapply the verizon carrier updates when it connects to the network.
