Will an iPhone 4 jailbroken with 4.2.1 be worth more than an iPhone 4 with iOS5 jb?

Just curious because I currently am jailbroken on 4.2.1 and will the resale value be worth more than an i4 jailbroken with iOS5?

No it's 32GB. So regardless what the firmware version is, it'll still sell for the same amount?

The only way to bump up value is if ur ip4 is unlock. Software unlock about 50-100$ more. Hardware unlock $100-200 more.

U will most likely get more for any iPhone outside of eBay ie craigslist.

offer the buyer choices it's the best way to go imo.

as last poster suggested leave as is and let the buyer determine. jb 4.2.1 is untethered and the ios5 is tethered at this point. plus very few apps are ready for ios5. but the unlock is the key to higher value. a 16 gig is bringing only $150-$300 in Southern Indiana. everyone is trying to dump theirs just to pay for the 4s

Jailbroken will fetch more, but as others have mentioned if you list on ebay, give the choice to restore to the latest firmware too.
I managed to fetch $400 for my 32GB 4, but that was last week. Prices will have dropped considerably since then though. See this thread
