I have a few of the older universal docks that work with all the iPhones. If I purchase a bumper should it fit in the dock?

We have an old dock for my iPhone 2g. The iPhone 4 fits in it without any case. Once I put the bumper on it no longer fits.

If you have a universal dock, it should fit in there without any adapter, although it won't be a snug fit.

I used the universal dock with no adapter with my 3GS and InCase Slider for the last year and it worked just fine.

If you mean the iPod universal docks, yes. I use mine original uni dock w/ a regular case & it works fine. Great fit, no give at all. You get the annoying "not optimized for this iPhone" message, but dismiss and go on w/ your biz.

I plan on modding my old 3G iphone dock so that it fits with the Bumper (when it arrives). So far for now the iPhone 4 fits and works naked. It may look ugly when i'm done but as long as the iPhone+Bumper fits that's all i care about lol.
