Hi
I have recently bought a MacBook Pro early 2011 with an Italian keyboard layout (It's almost impossible to find a US layout in Europe)
So I need to replace 18 keys on the keyboard, to make it a normal US International Keyboard.
I have found, that buying individual keys is much more expensive, than just buying a full replacement keyboard. But there is one little thing: although on individual keys, it's always specified, which kind of hinges they use, when buying full keyboard, it's never specified which kind of keys they have.
My question is this: if I buy a keyboard, let's say, on eBay, will I be able to mount the key-cap on any hinge? Or the key-caps and the hinges must match? I just don't want to order a keyboard, and then realize, I can't do anything with it.
(please don't suggest, that I change all my keyboard instead - there are several reasons I will not do it)
Thanks
