iOS Will Apple accept a free iPhone app that requires external registration?

Dear list members,

I am not yet enrolled in any iPhone program and have trouble finding information on what applications are accepted for the iTunes App Store under which conditions.

In my case, the app itself will be free but, in order to use it, you have to register your email address at an external website and pay $5 using PayPal for the service. I have to do this as the iPhone app is only one way to use our service, namely, if you are on the road - if you have access to a computer with internet, you do not have to use the iPhone for this service.

I don't see a problem with this; there are many similar apps that are free but require you to sign up with their service. Apple just requires that you provide a free demo account for them to test with when you submit it.
