If you are using Yosemite you know what I'm talking about. However the dark mode on Yosemite only takes effect on manu bar and dock. App windows are still white.

But in ios, the default dark keyboard is really cool. So as the private mode panel on safari. I wish apple could bring a full dark mode to ios so that we will have more choices.

As far as I can tell the ONLY reason they did dark mode on the Mac was so the dark pro apps could look like they fit in.

Since iOS apps take over the screen completely that reason is meaningless on the iPhones/iPads.

So, stripped of its only reason for being, I don't see dark mode transferring to iOS.

If history is any indication, not likely. I haven't the slightest clue why.

Johnny Ive seems to believe that it's best to wake up in the morning to an alarm clock app that closely resembles looking directly into the rising sun to disable your alarms.:cool:

We're in for a generation of early eye degeneration.

It does hurt.

I wonder if in graphic design circles any organization has brought in someone from Apple to speak about this new graphic philosophy. It would be interesting to hear the design thinking that is behind the look of something millions of people squint at each day.

I wish there was a dark mode. For reading at night, driving at night, and waking in the morning.

Will Apple bring dark mode on iOS?

Dark mode or f.lux I'd be happy..

Right now I use a combination of invert colors and grayscale via the tripple clic home button accessibility option. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412790164.324129.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1412790174.271857.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1412790183.006035.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1412790208.906734.jpg

Why doesn't someone make the default dark keyboard as a third party keyboard on the App Store, charge $0.99, and become a millionaire?
