Got absolutely plastered last weekend and in a drunken haze decided I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with something nice. I ordered her a base model 16' pro ($3000) because I thought she'd love me long time for it. I forgot about that until I saw the 'Your delivery will arrive by courier soon' text the next morning and thought oh ****, I ****ed up. I can't afford to do that! What the hell was I thinking! Thankfully I hadn't told her yet so I snuck outside, grabbed the package and hid it in the back of my closet.

I'm going to return it tomorrow. Here's the thing though: I've already returned 2 m1 macbooks since November, was my first time buying Apple and I really didn't know what to get, didn't have a good understanding of what I really 'needed' until I tried a few out in my workflow. I hear these stories about how people get banned from buying Apple products for too many returns and don't want that to happen to me, I love my new computer dearly and enjoy Apple in general lately.

I'm wondering if it's unlikely they'd count this one against me because the package is still unopened, the plastic seal is intact. Hell, even the seal on the paper Apple store bag it shipped in is still in tact, it's completely unopened. Am I being anxious for no reason?
