Will Apple give me a different color iPad2?

My iPad2 screen has really bad light-leakage and yellow tint. I took it in once, and they said they wouldn't replace it until the issue is fixed, which it is now. When I get my new iPad, can I ask Apple for the black one? I have the white one, which I kinda regret getting lol.

You can ask, but Apple's policy is to replace with the same color.

Unfortunately not. They will replace it.. not 'swap' it -- you'll get lovely white

As already posted Apple replaces items under warranty like for like. They will just give you another white one.

Unless you were in the 30-day return window you'll never be able to swap colors at the Apple Store.

I talked to the Apple Store yesterday they switched the screens to Toshiba or Samsung, one of those companies. However I've heard the newer screens are warmer.
