I remember apple doing this recently. Do you think the ipad air will be on sale for Black Friday?

No on knows any specifics but apple does indeed hold a black friday sale. Its meager in comparison to other retailers but every little bit helps.

But it's for everybody; you don't have to wait in line at midnight. Right?

Thats been the case in the past. Stuff can always change though.

Have you googled for info on Apple's previous black friday sales? That's about as good info as anyone here can tell you and is already available on the web.

Yes, the will ab-so-lute-ly have either/or a BF or CM promotion online. Questions are 1) will they have what you are looking to buy on sale and 2) if so will the discount be any better than what you can get elsewhere. The main advantage of an Apple sale is availability as they won't sell out of anything, though your item may take a while to arrive.

do you know what the sale was in previous years? I am interested in accessories. Chargers and Cases.

If they do it this year I will just call and ask Apple if they can credit me the difference in price, since I already bought an Air. I have a model that is virtually flawless and don't want to have to return it for a new one to save some cash.

Just buy what you want now, and then call them or stop in for the price difference on black Friday since you'll be in the return window, that way you get what you want now and get the BF savings. Had no problem doing this last year with my iPad 4.
