I doubt it. The human hand is only so large and after a certain point bigger is just bigger. Maybe 4.8 or something but, no, this is about it.

Not anytime soon. 5.5" is plenty big for a phone. They might as well give the iPad mini phone capability if they go any bigger on the phones. I don't think that will happen.

I agree, they need to still have a smallish phone, and they will. Also, it's hard to say what effect the Apple watch will have on all of this.

They might try to squeeze a 5" or 5.1" display into the same form factor as the 4.7" version by decreasing the size of the bezels, but I doubt it would happen anytime soon.

For a phablet, I can't see them going much past 5.5".

Only reason I think Apple has now released a 5.5 is due to the population being ready for a larger phone and more acceptant to it.

Ummmmm, or maybe the competition pushed them into it since they've been selling big phones for two years?

They've been " accepting" big phones for years. Just because Apple didn't make them doesn't mean they weren't ready.

I can't see Apple doing that. Clearly Apple felt 4.7'' was going to be much more popular than the Plus seeing all these shortages.... I feel an up to 5.0'' is more likely... as Google already did it, but I hope they don't. Unless Apple can make those bezels smaller.

The + shortages are due to screen yields, not popularity predictions.

I'd say drop the 4.7 and the 5.5 and make a 5 inch, it would be the perfect size inbetween. But of course, they'd make less money from seperate lines
