I jailbroke my iphone 3G with redsnow on 3.0 firmware and unlocked it using ultrasnow. Will Apple know if I jailbroke and unlocked it? I restored it once and restored it again in DFU mode. I unlocked it because I thought you had to unlock it to use a GoPhone sim card but comes to find out I didn't need to.

What is the current baseband on an iPhone 3G running 3.0 and how do I find it? I want to make sure everything matches with those who never unlocked it.

Is it the Modem Firmware? If so mine says 04.26.08

there's a deamon inside the iphone os checking for the presence of cydia.app (and probably some other programs too)

They wont, you just void your warranty doing so . ( or restore if you need something from a genius )

quick question, do you know anything more on this deamon and what else it may be doing?

I'm sending it into Apple repair via mail in service and I did a Restore thru DFU Mode. Should I be good as to them not knowing?

No.

The fact is that they will not even spend 2 mins on your iPhone, if your iphone is determined to be faulty (by the look of it) then they will just ship you a new iPhone (in white box) straight away.

trust me, I'm...

"I'm..." what? lol

The problem with my iPhone is that the battery has been draining alot even when I've restored it to factory settings 3 times. I always restored it to a new iPhone and not from a backup. Then on top of that it's almost unusable as to playing Apps because there all laggy. They might have just a second lag but for some apps you could find that really annoying. I've tried apps such as TapTap, NFS Undercover, and etc. and they all get laggy, even iPhone 3.) compatible apps. So i wonder if it's the processor maybe or what. Hopefully they will replace it :)
