Will Apple make new cases?

Just curious about people's thoughts on this. We have had silicon and leather cases from them that have been pretty much the same for a number of years. I have used both and have always liked them. Just curious if they would ever change materials/styles, or will it be more of the same.

I would love to see Apple make a protective case like samsung does. I had one previously, and it was a great case with a good kick stand.

Im going to assume, Apple won't deviate too much from the silicone, and 2 leather options
