I’d like to trade in my 6s for an iPhone 8 but I’m concerned if I wait Apple will bump down the trade-in value from $210 to something much lower. Should I start the process of sending it in before the keynote? How have things worked in the past?

UPDATE: I made a quote on Apple's Renew program through Brightstar. I'm locked in at $215 for my 6s, they're sending me a return package that will arrive in 5 days. If anything happens and I don't want the new iPhone 8/7s, I just won't send it in.

Since Apple will drop the price of old hardware...yes. Common sense.
No need to be snarky. I was asking if the renew value would drop right after the keynote or not until the new tech was shipping or whatever.
