Hi All

In December I had my MacBook Pro solen from my house and I have JUST ( 3 Months after ) been given a replacement last Friday. The problem I have now is it seem the hard drive has broken ( Will not boot and when I use disk utility no disc shows up ) I have spoken to my insurance company and they have said I will need to send it away to be repaired ! This could take a few more weeks and as you can guess this is not what I want. What I was thinking of doing was taking it to my local Apple Store and asking them to exchange it allowing me to get back up and running ASAP. Has any one done a similar thing and what did the people at the Apple store allow you to do? I dont want a wasted trip as my local store is 50 miles away.

Cheers
