Will Apple swap a white Sportsband for a black Sportsband (Apple Watch Sport)

Hey,
did anybody try to swap a white sportsband for a black sportsband?
(Silver Apple Watch Sport)
Does it work, or do they refuse, because there isn't a silver Apple Watch Sport with a black band?

They won't let you do this for the reason you mentioned.


Also, they don't have any bands in stock to my knowledge

Really like the look of the silver sport and the black band, but not ready to pay 59€

I called an Apple Store a couple days ago and the associate I talked to did specifically say it was possible to switch out one of the sport bands for the black band which only comes with the space grey watch.

not sure if she was given wrong information but has there been any other official statements on this ?

No swapping, and replacements are like for like only.
