I still have a 3GS that just shipped today. I already recieved my iP4 and I ordered a 3GS just too and Apple sold it me for $99 discounted price :)

But now when it arrives, do you think Apple will let me trade it in for an iP4 and pay the extra $100 for a 16GB?

Anyone else get multiple phones on a single account for discounted rate?

OK, If I understand you correctly, You bought a iPhone 3Gs and you want to return it and pay the difference for a iPhone 4?

I don't see what is wrong here.

me either? i guess some people on here would call this fraud?

i thought it was just an upgrade? and was wondering if apple would let me pay the difference. I dont see what the big deal is

The fraud involves getting a subsidized price on two iPhones for a single account. Not being able to recognize the fraud results in "ignorance" and ignorance isn't a defense in any court. AT&T will spot the mistake and charge you for the extra iPhone at an unsubsidized price tag..

In fact, I'm calling them right now! LMAO...:D

I think you worded it poorly.

But if I understand you, You bought a phone (3Gs) at upgrade price, and you want to return/exchange it and pay the difference for a iPhone 4.

Thats not stealing.

There are so many rude people on MR. Need help with your phone? don't come here. lol

You do get it, stop playing dumb.

You purchased an iPhone 4 at a subsidized price and then before your upgrade eligibility reset you ordered an iPhone 3GS at a subsidized price as well.

The most applicable definition of fraud that applies to you is: "something intended to deceive; deliberate trickery intended to gain an advantage".

Now when it comes down to it, I couldn't care less about you committing fraud, and possibly ending up with a large bill from AT&T once they realize their mistake.

I am just making you aware that that's not what we do here.

If you read his post you will see that he specifically states that he received two phones at a discounted rate on a single account. This is fraud. I don't understand where desiring to have a community that is free of illegal activity means we are rude, maybe you could help me understand.
