Just fun and games in business/newscycle wars right?

Does anybody think Apple will use either Oct 26th (MS releases Win 8) or Oct 29th (A Google event) as their "order on" or even "available in stores/delivery" dates?

Seems like these three companies are always trying to one up each other. I hope they do, I use products/services from all three everyday (don't really want to give up any) and love the competition.

Thoughts?

I think Apple will really surprise everyone with a "pre-orders start tomorrow and goes on sale this Friday" announcement, so available October 26th. People will be throwing their money at Apple before the Surface is even released.
