I just assumed that the Apple Watch would support Apple HomeKit via Siri since you pretty much always have your watch on wherever you are versus having to find your iPhone/iPad. However, if I say something like "Turn off kitchen light" using my iPhone/iPad, Siri responds with "I don't see anything connected" while speaking the same command to my Apple Watch, Siri responds with "I can help you control your home when you use handoff on your iPhone."
This seems like a huge missed opportunity unless Apple plans on extending this feature to the Apple Watch eventually...
