Hey MR,

I have a 15" rMBP, bought in 2012.
I also have Applecare for additional 3 yrs.
Currently, my screen experiences "ghosting", and I was told I can Apple can change my screen and fix it without issues.

MY QUESTION: I also am experiencing a looser hinge. Nothing problematic or from damage, but more due to normal usage of my mac. Will Applecare go out of their way to tighten the hinge, etc. or will I be looking at additional charges?

Any insight or past-experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The hinges are part of the display assembly, which will be replaced completely.

What the previous poster said. I just had mine done a few weeks ago. Walked in, they tested it and saw how horrific the IR was, and a couple hours later I picked it up with an entirely new top lid/screen assembly. Easy.
